Role OverviewThe Programmes Supervisor will promote and support independent living and community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for service users. They will assist the Manager in developing, implementing, and delivering quality customer-focused community services to meet the needs of service-users at an appropriate time and setting.
- Experience of working with adults with disabilities is essential.
- The ideal candidate will have experience designing and delivering individual programmes for people with disabilities or those who are marginalised.
- A strong track record of building, leading, and motivating a team is required.
- Proven experience in promoting and supporting independent living and community integration for service users is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- BUILDING TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SERVICE USERS AND FACILITATING THEM TO IDENTIFY THEIR GOALS, STRENGTHS, AND NEEDS.
- SUPPORTING SERVICE USERS TO ESTABLISH AND ENHANCE THEIR NATURAL SUPPORT CIRCLE.
- PROVIDING SERVICE USERS WITH ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION ON AVAILABLE COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORTS AND ENSURING ALL ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORTS ARE MONITORED AND MAINTAINED AT AN APPROPRIATE PACE TO ENSURE SUSTAINABILITY.
