About the Role
As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers. This involves assisting in the maintenance and monitoring of all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment and HVAC systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and collaborating with contractors to resolve problems efficiently.

We are looking for someone with experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission-critical environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web-based operational tools is also essential. If you have a valid driving license and a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline, we would like to hear from you.

A Day in the Life
Your typical day will involve monitoring alarms and systems, planning and coordinating vendor works, supporting other sites and teams during events, and carrying out rack power up and installation duties. You will also be responsible for facilitating new equipment handover and supporting new hires through knowledge sharing and development. Event response and drill participation are also essential parts of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment and HVAC systems within the Data Center/Facility.
  • Maintain and monitor all Data Center systems to include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Center support.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, cooling systems, fire/life safety equipment and generators.
