The role of the Programme Executive is to support the development of BER programme IT systems enabling the delivery of the calculation methodologies, BER Certificates and Advisory Reports, Building Digital Logbooks, MEPs, Buildings' databases and data exchange, Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB), and Zero Emission Buildings (ZEB).
About the Job:
This position requires a degree in a relevant technical or operational discipline such as Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Building Services, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, or other fields relevant to building energy modelling and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' directly relevant experience working in building performance assessment or modelling, or in sustainability/energy consultancy, or in project management in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will report to the Programme Managers of the Software & Systems and the Methodologies teams respectively. They will be responsible for supporting the development of BER programme IT systems, managing projects involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring stakeholder management, user acceptance testing, and software quality control.
Requirements:
The essential requirements for this position include a degree in a relevant field, a minimum of four years' experience in building performance assessment or modelling, knowledge of building energy performance methodologies, including DEAP and NEAP, experience in software development and quality control, stakeholder management, and user acceptance testing. Desirable requirements include BER Assessor certification, a good understanding of building energy systems, and PMP certification.
