Job Overview
The Quality Nursing Manager will lead and support quality, compliance, and governance across a group of nursing homes in the South East region.
This pivotal role involves working closely with management teams to ensure all services meet regulatory requirements and reflect the organisation's commitment to high-quality care.
The successful candidate will drive excellence through audits, policy development, staff training, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert guidance to management teams on HIQA compliance and regulatory best practices
- Leading internal audits, developing corrective action plans, and overseeing follow-up activities
- Supporting the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures
- Mentoring and developing staff, promoting a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement
- Overseeing safeguarding practices, risk management, and incident reporting across the group
- Analysing and reporting on quality metrics, contributing to organisational planning and development
The ideal candidate will possess a Registered General Nurse qualification, active registration, postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality, or clinical governance, and minimum 3-5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
