Principal Network Security Engineer

The Job Description

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and implement secure network architectures that meet our security standards and business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network security technologies and solutions, recommending them for adoption as needed.
  • Configure and manage our next-generation firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, network access control, and virtual private networks.
  • Implement and maintain secure connectivity solutions for our on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Support and optimize our security operations management systems, ensuring seamless data collection, system monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our network security designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Respond to security incidents escalated from our Tier 1 Security Operations Centre, conducting advanced analysis and remediation while engaging with internal stakeholders and external security partners.
  • Promote operational efficiency through documentation refinement and process improvement.
  • Manage our micro-segmentation initiatives.
  • Operate and manage our Web Application Firewall technologies.
  • Collaborate with our 'Blue Team' to aid in incident responses and attack simulations.
