Job Title: Civil Resident Engineer

Project Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Resident Engineer to oversee the upgrade of a wastewater treatment plant. The successful candidate will have experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works.

About the Role:

  • We require at least 7 years' post-graduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including wastewater projects.
  • A degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering, is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping accurate works records.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations are necessary.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts, particularly FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract, would be advantageous.
  • A current and valid SafePass card is essential.
  • Confined Spaces training would be desirable.

About You:

You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work effectively within a team and flexibility with travel requirements are also essential.
