Staff Grade Occupational Therapist

This is a permanent staff grade Occupational Therapist position available in a leading provider of services to patients with mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will join a well-structured team providing an occupational therapy service to patients with various mental health conditions, including neuropsychiatric presentations, enduring mental health conditions, dementia, and emerging physical disabilities.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment programmes for clients according to professional standards.
- Collaborate with residents, family, carers and other staff in goal setting and treatment planning.
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Contribute to the practice education of student therapists and promote teaching/training/support as appropriate.
- Hold a recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist and registration with CORU or eligibility for same.
- Prior clinical experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting; relevant placement experience considered.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
