Job Title

Manufacturing Technician Role Overview

  • Perform a variety of duties in the electronics, mechanical and electromechanical areas.
  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose and maintain equipment, devices or systems.
  • Develop solutions using DMAIC methodology.
  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Conduct tests and report data in prescribed I.T. format.
  • Perform alignment checks, modifications and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, IT and product development.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • We are looking for a qualified person with a minimum NFQ level 6 degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Ability to demonstrate good presentation skills is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player able to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • A good communicator fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Experienced with computer literacy and team dynamic skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical tools is an advantage.
