Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Worker. As a care worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with varying disabilities and complex health needs.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering person-centered care and making a positive impact on people's lives. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide tailored support that meets the unique needs of each service user.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling.
- Facilitating and implementing a person-centered service that aligns with the needs, wishes, and requirements of service users.
- Promoting and actively participating in teamwork to create a nurturing and supportive environment for service users.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Training in responses to challenging behavior and medication management.
- Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Work experience is not essential but would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge and skills in areas such as Autism, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy, and Down's Syndrome.
