About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Specialist to join our team at TN Ireland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in energy management, with expertise in developing and implementing sustainable solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of postgraduate experience in delivering works on water/wastewater engineering projects, with a degree in a related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. They will also have knowledge of ISO 50001 and ISO 50002 Energy Management Systems and Energy Systems, respectively.
The Energy Management Specialist will be responsible for carrying out preliminary energy site surveys and investigations, delivering energy audits with retro-commissioning projects, and managing, programming, and controlling energy audit projects and surveys performed by authorized contractors/consultants.
The successful candidate will also provide oversight and input into the conceptual design of energy engineering projects, investigating and resolving problems within scope of work or cost issues of facility upgrades and replacement projects. Additionally, they will carry out design and specification of pumping plant and associated mechanical, electrical, and control equipment for various IW applications together with budget costs, when required.
About the Requirements:
- At least 7-10 years' postgraduate experience in delivering works on water/wastewater engineering projects
- Knowledge of ISO 50001 and ISO 50002 Energy Management Systems and Energy Systems, respectively
- Ability to manage, programme, and control energy audit projects and surveys
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
