Drainage Expert Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer with postgraduate experience in drainage design for highways and active travel schemes.

The successful candidate will lead a team undertaking flood risk assessments and drainage designs for major national roads, motorways, and active travel schemes.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality engineering services as part of an integrated team.
  • Our multidisciplinary project teams require technical input from experienced professionals like yourself to support transportation, commercial/residential development, and environmental infrastructure projects.
  • As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing technical reports and effectively communicating outputs to clients.
  • You will also have the opportunity to develop and broaden the technical capacity of our flooding and drainage team.
Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality road drainage systems and flood risk management measures designs using industry-standard software.
  • Apply relevant standards to develop design solutions ensuring requisite approvals and consents are secured.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in civil engineering or another appropriate subject.
  • Member of an appropriate professional institution.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Significant experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and drainage design software.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to high quality, on time, and within budget.
