E-Commerce Tax Expert

We are seeking an experienced Tax Expert to support our E-commerce business in Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong tax advisory experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex business models.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Tax Analysis and Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of various business models to identify potential tax risks and opportunities for optimization.
  2. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal tax teams and external resources to develop tailored tax strategies and provide expert advice on tax-related matters.
  3. Tax Query Handling: Serve as the primary point of contact for tax queries from business teams, addressing inquiries and providing comprehensive responses.
  4. Tax Solution Review and Improvement: Regularly review existing tax solutions and implement improvements to optimize tax strategies.
  5. Tax Legislation Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changes and updates in tax legislation, assessing potential impacts on business operations and preparing teams for future challenges.
  6. Tax Compliance Training: Provide training and support to business teams, ensuring understanding and compliance with tax requirements through tailored educational sessions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Strong tax advisory experience covering EEA, with focus on indirect taxes, including in-house experience.
  • Strong Communication and Documentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Ability to Prioritize and Multitask: Ability to set priorities, multitask, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Independent Work Style: Ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
