Maritime Infrastructure Specialist

This exciting opportunity involves working on a wide range of international maritime projects providing critical infrastructure support for energy transition while improving coastal resilience against natural hazards and climate change.

You'll collaborate with a talented team to drive innovation and deliver high-quality design services for various maritime and coastal infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design.

We're looking for someone passionate about marine civil engineering who can bring their expertise and experience to the role. You should have an engineering degree in civil/structural engineering and at least 3 years of post-qualification design experience in ports and maritime infrastructure.

Additional advantages include early-stage design experience of energy transition related port infrastructure (wind, hydrogen or liquid carbon) and two or more years' experience in Irish/UK market or knowledge of one or more European languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design activities for various maritime and coastal infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality design services
  • Support and guide younger engineers in driving forward innovation in the design of maritime infrastructure
  • Support senior management in implementing growth strategy and initiatives for the consultancy firm

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree qualified in civil/structural engineering
  • At least 3 years post-qualification design experience in ports and maritime infrastructure
  • Early-stage design experience of energy transition related port infrastructure (wind, hydrogen or liquid carbon) would be an advantage
  • Two or more years' experience in Irish/UK market and/or knowledge of one or more European languages would be an advantage
