Job Overview

Merging Technical Expertise with Project Execution.

As a seasoned fire protection professional, you will oversee the project execution for complex engineering and construction projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will set specific goals for your elements of the project that align with the overall objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the detailed scope of work for each project.
  • Ensure meticulous management of project changes.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects associated with fire protection on these projects.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure all work is planned and executed in strict alignment with the programme schedule.
  • Work closely with design teams to guarantee timely availability of materials, designs, and equipment.
  • Develop schedules that meet client requirements and deliver milestones ahead of schedule.
  • Familiarize yourself with the scope to be delivered and have a thorough understanding of the project design.
  • Collaborate with clients, main contractors, and design departments to clarify design deliverables and ensure timely completion of design schedules.
  • The Fire Protection Team will build and monitor the schedule with you, ultimately owning the execution of works to meet that schedule.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5–7 years' experience working with recognized contractors and multi-disciplinary construction teams.
  • A trade or relevant third-level qualification.
  • Sprinkler and fire protection experience and exposure are required.
  • Demonstrated capability in construction delivery within specialized industrial sectors, including life sciences, pharma, mission-critical, and data centers.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Proven ability to understand and contribute to the development of project implementation for construction projects.
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines.
