Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Trainee to join our dynamic team of experts. As a Tax Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience through daily client interactions and mentoring by experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ad-hoc input into compliance and advisory matters relating to all other tax heads including VAT, PAYE/PRSI, Capital Gains Tax, CAT, Stamp Duty, etc.
  • Assist in managing the compliance requirements of corporate and income tax clients, ensuring payment and return filing deadlines are met.
  • Preparation and filing of tax returns in relation to corporation tax and income tax.
  • Liaising with Revenue in respect of client matters.

Requirements:

ideal candidate should have:

  • Started or planning to work towards CTA
  • Capability to work efficiently under time pressures.
  • Experience working in tax in a practice environment is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good systems and analytical skills (Excel proficiency is an advantage).
