Rockwell Engineering is currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters to join an exciting mechanical engineering project in the Athlone region, on a full-time basis.

• Reading and interpreting drawings to select type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and project rules and company policies and procedures by inspecting worksites for potential obstructions.
• Planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstacles and activities of other workers.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within a mechanical contracting environment, be able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-functional team, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and hold valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification. Own transport is also a necessity for this position.
