Cyber Threat Analyst

The role of the Cyber Threat Analyst is crucial in identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats to an organization's assets. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting efforts to reduce cyber risk by understanding the threat landscape, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of strategies to mitigate those threats.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain awareness of emerging trends and developments in the threat landscape to inform intelligence requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products and services that meet internal stakeholder needs.
- Pursue relationships with government partners, intelligence-sharing organizations, and commercial providers to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
- Represent the firm in industry forums to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Proven experience in threat intelligence, with a focus on analytical rigour and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.
- Familiarity with global cyber threat landscapes, particularly in the financial sector, and understanding of strategic geopolitical and technological developments.
- Adept at explaining the relevance of structured analytic techniques, risk assessment methodologies, and intelligence tradecraft to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (STIX, MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, NIST, CRI) and experience working with formal CTI qualifications (CREST, SANS).
- Understanding of global regulatory expectations related to threat intelligence.
