Senior Data Engineer Job

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialise in Microsoft analytics technologies, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and related tools.

This role is part of the Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) team. We design, implement, and optimise data infrastructure and analytics solutions to support business intelligence and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimise scalable and robust data pipelines and architectures using Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, security, and compliance within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to deliver high-quality, business-driven analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft analytics technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and semantic model design.
  • Able to design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines and architectures using Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data workflows.
