We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking individual to join our maintenance team as an Electrical System Specialist.

The ideal candidate will focus on various tasks related to electrical systems and equipment, aiming to improve available running time and performance.

This position is based in Dublin, where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by installing and repairing electrical wiring and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, test, maintain, repair, and replace electrical components using hand and power tools.
  • Detect and diagnose malfunctions, test electrical systems for accurate operation, and inspect equipment for hazards or defects.
  • Provide advice to management on equipment operation and collaborate with maintenance fitters.

You will work at heights installing and repairing electrical wiring and equipment, planning and performing installations while adhering to codes. You will also pull wires through conduits, construct parts, and work on dismantling and assembling equipment with precision.

Maintaining detailed records of breakdowns and repairs is essential, as well as collaborating with maintenance fitters and contributing to equipment modifications.

Additionally, you may work with external contractors when needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland
  • Electrical proficiency, being able to diagnose and tackle problems, and read electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of Mechanical containment installations, e.g., conduit, cable ladder, trunking etc.
  • Ability to work from Heights, e.g., Ladders, MEWP
