Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, specialist paediatric care to children with varying disabilities in their own homes. This position involves working one-on-one with each child, using a tailored approach to meet their unique needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and their families.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert paediatric care to children with complex needs, including medication administration, skin care, and mobility support.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements
  • NMBI registration and current PIN issued.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a homecare setting.
  • A willingness to undergo additional training and professional development as required.
  • Garda Vetting clearance and ability to work independently.
