We are seeking an experienced Construction Cost Manager to join our team. This role will involve managing the commercial aspects of multiple live projects, including purchasing costs and placing orders with suppliers, preparing and submitting applications for payment, negotiating and agreeing project variations, cashflow forecasting and monitoring contract management.

To be successful in this role you will need a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management and 4+ years experience in a Construction Cost Manager role on construction projects with a building contractor. A strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site is also essential.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple live projects
  • Managing purchasing costs and placing orders with suppliers
  • Preparing and submitting applications for payment
  • Negotiating and agreeing project variations
