The role offers an excellent opportunity to play a leading part in delivering innovative electrical design solutions on large-scale data centre projects worldwide.
You will collaborate closely with our team and work alongside colleagues from various disciplines to drive the successful delivery of technically exceptional and profitable projects.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the design process and production of high-quality design deliverables;
- Managing your immediate team of engineers;
- Monitoring budgets and programmes, reviewing designs, and communicating effectively with the project and client teams.
In addition, you will be expected to:
- Use your expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication to motivate and inspire your colleagues;
- Support senior staff within the team;
- Work collaboratively to develop less experienced engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a Chartered Electrical Engineer (CEng equivalent) qualification;
- Proven experience in an Electrical Engineering role, preferably within a data centre/critical systems context;
- Excellent knowledge of electrical theory and relevant design software;
- Strong coordination skills with other design disciplines;
- Ability to produce schematic diagrams, fault studies, specifications, and project reports;
- Experience in site inspections, surveys, and detail design development.
