Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Van Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team in North Dublin. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, as well as the receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving and warehouse operations, with experience in handling heavy machinery such as counterbalance forklifts. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.


Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for all stock levels and physical transfers between three warehouses (two external)
  • Responsible for the general housekeeping and upkeep of outside storage locations and equipment (FLTs, stands, and accessories)
  • Ad-hoc deliveries and collections to and from local customers when required
  • Liaise and effectively communicate with all relevant personnel associated with ordering and storage of stands and accessories
  • Stock Counts – participate in cycle counts and short dated stock checks
  • Assist in the unloading of containers when needed
  • Order picking and processing deliveries outward; checking and receiving goods inwards
  • Waste Management: Monitor the skip levels, notify the manager when a skip needs emptying, and manage waste to minimize disposal costs

Requirements
  • Full, clean driving license (essential)
  • Previous experience in a driving role
  • Reach truck (desirable) and counterbalance (essential) licenses
