Facilities Leader Job Description

This role involves overseeing a team of maintenance professionals responsible for maintaining an efficient manufacturing process and facilities setup to produce products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance works required for equipment, facilities, and utilities in the plant.
  • Optimize the usage of facilities, equipment, and building spaces, preventing machine and utility downtime.
  • Evaluate and carry out improvements for facilities in the plant to achieve higher operational efficiency.
  • Plan and execute preventative and corrective works to maintain buildings, facilities, and utilities in top condition.
  • Manage and schedule various projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs in the plant, planning and executing accident/incident prevention programs.
  • Ensure government laws, rules, and regulations related to EHS matters and facilities are followed and complied with.
Job Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals and objectives, devising and implementing strategies to achieve targets.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability, proficient in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
  • Knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
  • Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
  • Strong and convincing communication skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
