Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present hot and cold deli items, sandwiches, salads, and snacks efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked deli counter, ensuring a visually appealing environment for customers.
  • Serve customers with a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Handle individual customer requests with a proactive attitude and aim to exceed expectations.
  • Fully comply with food hygiene, allergen, and Health & Safety guidelines, adhering to provided training.
  • Ensure correct storage and rotation of food items and equipment, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Support colleagues as required to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.
About You
  • You possess a positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • You have good people skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You have a good level of spoken English, enabling effective communication with colleagues and customers.
  • Previous experience in a deli, catering, or customer service role would be advantageous but is not essential.
