The Job
We are currently seeking a skilled Estimating Specialist to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing estimating processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of our tender submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain estimating systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to estimating staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Monitor and analyze estimating performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans to improve estimating efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
