Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in occupational health? We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to employees, including administering vaccinations, conducting health screenings, and managing occupational health records.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, consisting of four 8-hour shifts and one 5.5-hour shift. The hours/shifts are subject to negotiation with the local service manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to employees, including administering vaccinations and conducting health screenings.
- Manage occupational health records in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Work closely with the Occupational Health Physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in continuous professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Registered in the general division of the live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board Ireland.
- Requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity.
- Certification of Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Course within the last two years.
- Initial National Anaphylaxis Education Programme for Health Care Professionals certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills and administrative knowledge.
- Phlebotomy and Vaccination administration competency.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
