Your Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of person-centred plans that meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Build trusting relationships with service users, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives
  • Support individuals and groups in accessing their community to meet identified needs by facilitating activities and programmes
  • Contribute to a supportive environment that promotes the safety, wellbeing, and independence of service users

You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">

Essential Qualifications and Experience

">
  • QQI Level 5 (full award) in Health or Social Care, or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of New Directions Standards for Day Services
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of intellectual disabilities, including Autism
  • 1 year minimum experience of working in a relevant setting, with experience of facilitating and implementing person-centred plans

Desirable Skills and Qualities

">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
  • Full manual driving license
