Automotive Expertise Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Automotive Expert, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing in-depth knowledge of automotive systems.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with customers, locate and stock parts, and operate inventory systems and store equipment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work varied schedules are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized sales experience for DIY customers, achieving individual and store sales goals
  • Manage services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inventory processes, including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock management
  • Evaluate store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot maintenance
Success Factors:
  • Possess friendly communication and strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate safety knowledge and skills, operating inventory systems and store equipment
  • Exhibit parts and automotive system knowledge, expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment
Essential Job Skills:
  • Working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, and ASE certification preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and use basic math accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands:
  • Hold a valid driver's license, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
