Job Description

The Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Projects will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple engineering competencies including Lean Six Sigma, manufacturing, and automation. They will provide technical leadership across the facility and possess a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in their field of specialization. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex assignments and ensuring the quality of processes and products as defined in appropriate OS and Material specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Management of significant engineering projects through the Project Management Office (PMO).">
  • Ensure the quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and material specifications.">
  • Ownership of the First-Pass Yield (FPY) and Material Review Board (MRB) process.">
  • Continuously improve the performance of the process.">
  • Optimization of current floor space.">
  • Provide support to Process Development/Advanced Operations on technology development and application within the manufacturing process.">
  • Engage in the implementation of lean manufacture within manufacturing.">
  • Support process development and cost reduction activities within business units.">
  • Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Education:

">

A Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

">

Experience:

">

4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment is necessary.

">

Skills:

">

The successful candidate will require strong project management skills, excellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents, and the ability to provide technical leadership and influence others as required.
