We are seeking an innovative Product Design/Development Engineer to spearhead our product development initiatives.
This role entails pioneering cutting-edge product designs that cater to evolving customer needs while prioritizing sustainability. Effective collaboration with the sales team ensures our products align with market demands, focusing on eco-friendly materials and processes.
- Design and develop groundbreaking products from concept to production, emphasizing sustainable practices.
- Work closely with the sales team to gather insights and feedback, translating them into innovative design specifications that meet customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies and cost analyses to evaluate new product ideas, prioritizing environmentally friendly materials and manufacturing processes.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and prototypes that reflect our commitment to innovation and sustainability.
- Test and assess prototypes, making necessary adjustments based on performance data and sales feedback, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
- Participate in trade shows and promotional events to showcase sustainable product innovations.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in product design and development, with a focus on innovation and sustainable design solutions.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for eco-friendly design and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with sales teams and management.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials, manufacturing processes, and product testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sustainability.
