The role of a Vendor Consultant at Amazon is to work closely with key vendors to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and improve customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Vendors: Work with internal teams and external vendors to optimize business performance, improve operational aspects, and provide a great consumer experience.
- Data Analysis: Conceive, create, and analyze data to grow traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon websites.
- Strategic Planning: Build and execute strategic account plans that deliver on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for vendors and Amazon.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Establish strong communication channels, set clear expectations, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Baccalaureate Diploma: Mandatory
- Language Skills: Independent user of English (B2) + Italian (B2)
- Experience: 2+ years in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, or supply chain
- Customer Interaction: 2+ years interacting with customers/stakeholders
- Excel Skills: Knowledge of advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Business Communication: Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Process Improvement: Ability to drive process or procedure improvements
- Data Analytics Tools: Knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, SIM-ticketing, and project management tools, as well as experience using scripts
