As a Childcare Professional at Early Childhood Ireland, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families. Job Requirements

This is a temporary position from now until the end of June, covering maternity leave from August to January. During this time, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition and provide exceptional care to children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that supports the well-being and happiness of children.
  • Collaborate with parents and other educators to create a home-from-home atmosphere that fosters strong relationships and a sense of belonging.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum QQI level 5 in Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • A warm, caring, and energetic approach to childcare, with a genuine love for children.
  • Experience working in early childhood settings, preferable but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team.
