Key ResponsibilitiesThe Principal Equipment Engineer will be responsible for managing and delivering equipment, including specification, procurement, delivery, qualification, and project management. The successful candidate will lead equipment delivery projects with suppliers, manage budgets, and own specifications through to qualification.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the organization's varied product portfolio delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing engineering systems strategy for program delivery
- Piloting to scale up, subassembly, final assembly, labeling, packaging, transport, and auxiliary systems
- Establishing and maintaining timelines against organizational requirements and identifying external partners/OEMs to meet internal needs
- Leading engineering systems in cross-departmental teams
The Principal Equipment Engineer will also be accountable for process specification, development, and realization from product concept to commercialization. This will involve liaising with internal teams to establish process steps and controls, using good engineering practices.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a degree in Science/Engineering with 7+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device development or a similar role. Strong project management experience is highly preferred.
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, conscientious, highly driven, and motivated individual with good communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
