Senior Cloud Developer Position

A high-level cloud developer is required to join a project built entirely in the cloud using .NET.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement REST-style services using C#/.NET for a cloud-centric project
  • Operate within a serverless stack powered by AWS Lambda, API routing, and cloud logging tools to deliver scalable services
  • Improve query performance and reliability across a Postgres-based data layer with expert knowledge
  • Contribute to automated delivery using pipeline tooling in Azure DevOps for efficient workflows
  • Use declarative templates to manage infrastructure setups (IaC) with expertise
  • Follow secure coding principles across identity and secrets access for enhanced security
  • Maintain service contracts and API definitions with technical documentation for improved communication
Required Skills:
  • Recent hands-on experience with .NET 8, C#, and cloud-first API development for successful projects
  • Expertise deploying services via AWS Lambda, with logging and monitoring using CloudWatch and X-Ray for optimal performance
  • Strong PostgreSQL skills, particularly tuning and custom queries for efficient data retrieval
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD pipeline tools for streamlined delivery
  • Practical knowledge of Terraform or equivalent infra-as-code tooling for infrastructure management
  • Confident working with IAM policies, secret management, and API hardening for secure solutions
  • Comfortable writing tests using xUnit and Moq for thorough testing
