Our Dublin based client is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery Lead to spearhead enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity planning. This critical role ensures the safeguarding of IT infrastructure, services, and operations across the organisational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Resilience Leadership:
    • Direct the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies across the groups technology functions.
    • Collaborate closely with leaders and operational stakeholders across multiple business units to align DR/BCM strategies with organisational objectives.
  • Vendor Coordination:
    • Partner with managed service providers and third-party vendors to ensure their recovery responsibilities meet agreed standards and SLAs, including active participation in test planning.
  • Business Impact Analysis:
    • Lead the creation and maintenance of Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) to identify and prioritise essential services and the resources required for their recovery.
  • Documentation & Tooling Maintenance:
    • E nsure all DR/BCM documentation, including BIAs, BCPs, and risk assessments, is consistently reviewed, updated, and accessible.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
    • Evaluate and report on the impact of risks on mission-critical systems and functions, and collaborate with the IT Risk Manager to drive prioritised risk mitigation plans.
