About the Role

We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Construction Plant Fitter to join our team in Portlaoise. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out routine services, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on heavy plant machinery at our depot and on customer sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Performing routine services, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on heavy plant machinery.
  2. Diagnosing specific fault issues and taking corrective action.
  3. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, including common areas.
  4. Updating service records onto the internal system.

What You Need: A relevant qualification in Construction Plant Fitting and previous experience working on heavy plant machinery are essential. Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles is also required. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and under pressure, with good communication skills.
