Asbestos Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Asbestos Surveyor and/or Analyst to undertake management, refurbishment, demolition, and reinspections of commercial, industrial, and residential properties and sites. The successful candidate will have both the P402 and/or P403/P404 qualifications and experience in surveying and air testing.

About the Role

• Perform desktop-based risk assessments, site visits, and surveys of asbestos-containing materials
• Conduct static and personal air testing, as well as four-stage clearances and other environmental sampling
• Provide expert advice on asbestos management strategies and removal procedures
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions
• Collaborate with contractors and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

• Hold BOHS P402 / P403 / P404 or equivalent RSPH qualification
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and possess excellent communication skills
• Have at least two years of experience working in a similar role within the asbestos industry
• Be willing to carry out both asbestos surveying and/or air monitoring duties
• Have a good working knowledge of HSG 248 & HSG 264
