Procurement Manager Job Description

As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement functions to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support business operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement efficient and effective procurement processes, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and sustainability requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term category strategies to optimize procurement costs and improve supplier relationships.
  • Manage assigned purchasing categories, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain best practice systems and procedures to ensure seamless procurement operations.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in complex industries with expertise in procurement management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is mandatory.
