Bar Supervisor Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our team at a prestigious hotel in the city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all bar services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and managing a team of professionals.

The hotel is a 4-star establishment located in the heart of Waterford, with stunning views of the Marina and Reginald's Tower. It is just a short stroll from the city's shopping and entertainment hotspots, as well as the business district.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. They will also have proven experience in bar operations and stock control, knowledge of responsible alcohol service and licensing laws, and the ability to handle busy periods calmly and efficiently.

The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
  • Managing a team of professionals to ensure that all aspects of bar service are running smoothly.
  • Ensuring that all health and safety standards are maintained, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Controlling stock levels, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Upselling and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
