Senior Tax Consultant - Strategic Advisor

We are currently seeking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our tax team in Cork, with excellent opportunities for career progression and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality tax consultancy and advisory services to clients across various industries, with a strong focus on strategic planning and project management.

  • Provide expert tax consultancy and advisory services to clients, leveraging your technical knowledge and industry expertise to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement tailored tax planning strategies that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maximizing tax efficiency.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive tax planning reports to clients and other stakeholders, communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and professional advisors to deliver a seamless and comprehensive tax consulting service.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and maintain a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, sharing your expertise and experience to ensure their success and growth within the organization.
  • Review and manage the work of more junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A qualified CTA tax professional with a strong technical knowledge of multiple tax heads.
  • An accounting qualification is desirable but not essential, as we provide training and support to ensure you have the necessary skills and expertise.
  • At least two years' experience in the provision of tax consultancy and advisory outputs and services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff members towards achieving their goals.
