About the Role:
The Senior Depositary Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of our depositary services offering. This role involves working closely with direct line management to establish and refine operating procedures, monitor cash flows, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain operating procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of the fund platform.
2. Monitor cash flows passing through the fund platform, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
3. Ensure the safekeeping of fund assets, either through custody or verification of ownership.
4. Oversee the proper operation of the fund platform, implementing controls and checks to ensure its efficiency.
5. Collaborate with direct line management to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Provide guidance on internal and external queries related to day-to-day depositary matters.
7. Assist direct line management on delegated tasks, such as billing and onboarding.
8. Conduct regular reviews of transactions and documentation collection processes.
9. Ensure that Aztec policy and professional guidelines are adhered to, and a professional quality service is provided to clients and contacts.
10. Prepare and present KPI reports in Board meetings.
11. Develop and implement training programs for junior staff.

Requirements:
1. Relevant professional qualification (ACCA, OEC, DSCG, or ACA) is highly valued.
2. Strong technical knowledge, which can be developed through in-house training and bespoke on-the-job training.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
5. Ability to read and interpret domestic and EU regulations and legislation.
6. Experience of day-to-day supervision of at least one employee, with a desire to develop responsibilities within the people management arena.
7. Experience of responsibility for a client relationship or a significant part of a major client relationship.
