We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering temperature-controlled products nationwide, working closely with a leading Irish blue-chip Company.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys driving new vehicles and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, with strong time management skills and the ability to work flexibly. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a reliable and trustworthy attitude.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of €17.00, additional annual leave linked to service, and career development and training opportunities. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from motivated individuals who are available to work Wednesday - Sunday, 9.30am - 7.30pm approx.
Responsibilities:
- Loading, transporting, and making deliveries to homes and customers in a safe and timely manner
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Providing first-class customer service, answering questions, and handling customer complaints
- Adhering to assigned routes and following timed schedules
- Abiding by Rules of the Road and maintaining a safe driving record
- Following all Health and Safety practices as advised
- Completing vehicle walk-around checks and reporting defects or damage daily
- Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance
Requirements:
- Full clean B Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a multi-drop delivery driver
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and trustworthy
