About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in surveying, with a minimum of 3 years' experience using topographical instruments. You will be responsible for leading and setting up survey projects, undertaking various types of survey sessions, working with modern survey methods and devices, establishing survey controls, and recording surveying information accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and setup survey projects
  • Undertake various types of survey sessions using specialized equipment and technology
  • Work with modern survey methods and devices such as total stations, GNSS, and data collectors
  • Establish survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing, and other land surveying work
  • Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site
  • Process data from the field into the office, post-processing with software such as AutoCAD
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' site survey experience using topographical instruments
  • Very good level of English (written and spoken)
  • Physically capable to carry out the role
  • Full clean Irish/EU manual driving license
  • Relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Experience of working to high safety standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of role-related post-processing software
  • Strong technical knowledge
