Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our regulatory reporting function.

This strategic leadership role will oversee a high-impact team responsible for regulatory submissions across prudential, transaction, and disclosure requirements.

The successful candidate will lead a specialized team focused on timely, accurate, and complete reporting to regulators. The role will also involve senior stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, team development, and systems optimization to ensure continued regulatory obligations are met to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Regulatory Reporting team, ensuring output meets the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Oversee submission of all prudential returns to the Central Bank of Ireland, including COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, resolution reporting, and ad hoc regulatory deliverables.
  • Maintain ongoing compliance with shareholder disclosure regulations, including short selling and takeover requirements.
  • Own and monitor the outsourced regulatory reporting service agreement, ensuring service quality and operational continuity.
  • Assess and implement automation initiatives and continuous process improvements, including development of centralized data depositories and reporting enhancements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in regulatory reporting within financial services.
  • Previous experience as a senior or deputy lead within a regulatory reporting function.
  • Detailed knowledge of CBI regulatory returns (e.g., COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, resolution), transaction reporting regimes, and associated technologies.
  • A third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience dealing with regulatory bodies, particularly the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Deep understanding of Treasury and financial trading products.
