Main Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs that align with Amazon's standards and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate health and safety risks, improve processes, and enhance overall performance
- Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business growth and employee satisfaction
- Analyze data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and measure the effectiveness of health and safety initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, contractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve health and safety outcomes
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and expertise as a Health and Safety professional
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team and across the organization
- Promote transparency, accountability, and open communication throughout the organization to drive success in health and safety

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction industry
- Proven track record of managing health and safety programs, developing compliance strategies, and leading teams to achieve outstanding results
- Extensive knowledge of global construction safety regulatory frameworks, incident management, and risk mitigation programs
- Strong leadership skills, ability to build trust with stakeholders, and capacity to drive change initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and measure the effectiveness of health and safety initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding within the team and across the organization
