Key Tax Policy Role

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Director to join our Tax Policy Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on tax policy developments.



Our team operates in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, staying abreast of changes in the international tax landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international tax consulting, with a strong background in tax policy and legislation.



Responsibilities
  • Develop and deepen knowledge of new legislation and tax policy, including Pillar 2 rules;
  • Partner with client teams to ensure they are informed about key developments and their business implications;
  • Review and disseminate material related to key policy developments;
  • Prepare concise and coherent summaries of complex legislation;
  • Lead training sessions for colleagues and clients on policy developments;
  • Draft responses to governmental requests for feedback on legislation;
  • Develop our responses to various tax policy initiatives of the OECD, EU, Department of Finance, and Revenue Commissioners;
  • Coach team members and drive the team to achieve results in a responsible, authentic, and passionate manner;
  • Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries;
  • Attract, develop, and retain the best talents for the organization.


Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in international tax consulting;
  • Policy experience or significant exposure to Pillar 2;
  • Big 4/Revenue/OECD or other relevant experience;
  • Strong academic record with a degree from any discipline and AITI/CTA qualification/equivalent overseas qualification;
  • Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behavior to build quality, diverse relationships;
  • Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential;
  • Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.
