Job Opportunity:
Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Nursing Manager in the Midlands Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing quality initiatives across our nursing homes, ensuring high standards of person-centered care, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
This pivotal role involves overseeing quality assurance systems and audits, mentoring Persons in Charge (PICs) in clinical governance, developing policies aligned with national standards, and providing strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care, excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, as well as a full driving license and willingness to travel.
- Lead quality assurance systems and audits across all homes
- Mentor and support PICs in clinical governance
- Develop and implement policies aligned with national standards
- Oversee safeguarding frameworks and risk management
- Deliver training and promote a culture of learning and innovation
- Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration
- Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management or quality improvement
- 3–5 years' experience in a healthcare quality or compliance role
