Job Title

Fire Protection Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining fire protection systems in a variety of settings. This includes sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and other equipment.

As a Fire Protection Technician, you will be working on your own initiative to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently. You will also be required to interface with clients and communicate effectively to ensure that their needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing and maintaining sprinkler systems
  • Planning and executing small to medium sized jobs
  • Surveying works and coordinating with design teams
  • Traveling around the country as required
  • Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems
  • Working on own initiative and taking ownership of tasks
  • Full driver's licence (optional)
  • Liaising and building relationships with clients
  • Competent in draining and refilling sprinkler systems
  • Competent in operating fire pumps and related fire alarms

The ideal candidate will have experience in installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. National Craft Certificate is highly desirable.
