Job Description

As an Electrical Sustainability Specialist, you will play a vital role in installing and commissioning our metering systems, developing bespoke metering plans for clients, and creating energy dashboards that drive climate action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission Watt Footprint's metering systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of metering plans tailored to client needs, driving energy efficiency and cost savings.
  • Create and manage clients' energy dashboards, providing actionable insights to inform informed decision-making.
  • Communicate the benefits of metering to clients, empowering them to take control of their energy usage and reduce their carbon footprint.
  • Conduct site visits for installation and commissioning, working collaboratively with clients to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Prioritize sales and business development efforts, leveraging your technical expertise to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.

Required Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, complemented by 5+ years of experience in metering and sub-metering.
  • In-depth knowledge of metering/monitoring principles, including installation and commissioning best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and sales skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
  • A passion for sustainability, inspiring others to join the climate action movement.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent client management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
